LET THEM GO YOU WON'T REGRET IT

So what. That should be your attitude when someone walks out of your life. So what. But thats not reality. Its hard when you know you have to let someone out of your life, or when someone walks out of your life, especially if you've been so attatched. But we need to let those people, and sometimes things, go.

We hear this alot but those people that want out, for reasons you can't control, LET THEM GO! The bible tells us in 1 John Ch. 2: v.9 (They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.) that if our friends were really for us, they would have stuck it out, been there for the long haul, whether times were good, bad, happy or sad. William MacDonald said in the Believer's Bible Commentary (a book I think we should all have) that true faith has the quality of permanence, that when TRUE belivers get together God will always be in the midst, and thats what God promised in the bible.

That person that walked out of your life, isn't of the believing sort, and thats ok. Because you will be there when they decide to come to God for themselves. You have to be, it says that in 1 John Ch. 3: v.16 (Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.) That means that now we know that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, which is love, we should show the same love for others, NO MATTER WHAT, even if they have shunned us.
